Planning Your Visit
Whether you are coming to the Saturday Matinee or the Easter Morning Sunrise Presentation please just use common sense regarding your dress and what you bring for your own comfort. The Saturday Matinee will hopefully be marvelously warm and sunny. The awesome Easter morning presentation which begins before sunrise will probably be chilly. There will be portable toilet facilities near the seating but the location is very rustic, just as it was in early biblical times.
Tips for the Saturday afternoon Matinee at 2:00 p.m.
- Arrive half an hour early.
- There is limited parking available within the park near the rocks.
- It is a mile’s walk from the front gate if you have to park outside.
- 800 seats are available on a first come first serve basis.
- You may bring your own chair if you like.
- What to bring: water, hats, sunscreen, a jacket, sunglasses, walking shoes.
- Picnic areas are available.
Tips For Our Easter Morning Sunrise Service at 5:00 a.m.
- Arrive half an hour early.
- The front gate is opened at 4:10 a.m.
- There is limited parking available within the park near the rocks.
- It is a mile’s walk from the front gate if you have to park outside.
- 800 seats are available on a first come first serve basis; you may bring your own chair if you like.
- What to bring: heavy jacket, blankets, flashlight, warm drinks, walking shoes, non-flash photography, towel.
